- FIRST, we will organize our ISN and add pages to our "Reading" section.
- SECOND, we will add a "Characterization" (Direct/Indirect) page to our ISNs.

- FIRST, we will add a "Character Traits" page to our ISNs.
- SECOND, we will discuss the writing prompt and how to format a short response.
- THIRD, we will use the remainder of the period to write the short response.

- FIRST, we will be introduced to the "Flowers for Algernon" Excerpt packet. Students will be instructed how to read and write their responses to questions (which will appear on the side of the page).
- SECOND, we will start reading Progress Reports 1 & 3.
