- FIRST, students will complete the exam for "Flowers for Algernon."
- SECOND, students will be able to use the remainder of the period to work on their Q1 Extended Responses.

In this class, I can identify TONE and MOOD through multimedia sources.
- FIRST, students will pair texts with adjectives describing either TONE or MOOD.
- SECOND, students will add the ELA Quarter 2 PowerPoint packet into our binders.
- THIRD, students will watch various trailers that demonstrate how the use of cinematic elements can change our feelings / author's purpose of the content.
- FOURTH, students will complete a Video Response worksheet.
- FIFTH, students will complete an Exit slip to determine their understanding of TONE and MOOD.
